Philosophy on Education- Mrs. Johnson
In life, the value of something is held in high regard for the importance of worth. As an educator, I value every one of my students. Professionally, educating students is my responsibility. However, I firmly believe that education is more than teaching academics. Daily, I strive to educate my students to value themselves alongside learning to value their education.
Teaching my students the value of finding their self-worth enables me to assist them to grow at their own academic, emotional, and social levels. Within time, self-worth will surface within them, and they will reveal the true value of themselves. As an educator, I commit to each one of my students so that they can call upon me, and I will always respond by supporting them to achieve success. Through my actions, I commit to model this character for my students; desiring them to “pay it forward” to the next generations. As an educator with Exter Community Day School, I am honored to be a teacher who serves students to empower their confidence in learning and life.
In service,
Mrs. Johnson
